Today ECD started !!

It is again a special day for Nibakure Community Village (NCV). After many years of waiting (Covid and construction), the Early Childhood Development (ECD) school started again. NCV staff had so many weeks of preparation, setting up the classroom, daily schedules, and gathering the appropriate materials. Staff did technical inspection of the building, renovated children’s playground, and cleared the surroundings of the school to ensure the safety of the children. On January 10th, 2024, we held our first meeting with the parents to get acquainted. NCV staff provided ample time to express their concerns and visit the classroom for their children.

On Monday 15, 2024, Parents brought their children to school, while NCV workers were running up and down to welcome them. NCV workers prepared breakfast for the children 6:30 am and are already at the school with the breakfast. So children first enjoy a healthy drink, then get situated in their classroom.
