Sewing class started !

On January 8th 2024, NCV welcomed a second group of 20 teen mothers to receive training in sewing and small business management. These teen mothers will also receive information on reproductive health, trauma healing, individual and group therapy.

After an initial meeting between the students, the teachers and the organizers, the students went to get acquainted with their classroom.

Organizers and teacher explained the ins and outs of the time schedule, safety of equipment, rules and regulations.

The students were informed that at the end of the training, each will receive a sewing machine with associated materials so that they can organize themselves in a cooperative or start an individual business.

Some students didn’t show up yet, it’s not always easy to organize a baby at home and come to the school. One of the many difficulties they are facing.
