Clean potable water for NCV

To study well, the children need good health. An essential element which contributes to this, is clean water.

NCV received a brand new clean water installation, under the name of Naïade, thanks to good friends from the Netherlands, Sita and Stephan.

The Netherlands Impala Foundation and Quota International Zeist, with local support from Eastinco Mining Co, came to NCV to set up the installation.

The installation is powered by a solar panel, and the water is totally purified by UV light. The technician explained the workings and necessary manipulations for maintenance. NCV technician, Claude, connected the installation to rain and local city water (WASAC).

The result is a well thought out, easy to use installation with up to 2000 liters per day of clean water for all children and colleagues in NCV.
